RECORD LABEL NAME & BAND LOGO
BAND LOGO:
During the emailing process between the band and ourselves, we agreed with the band and their management that we would credit the band throughout the process of making the video. We decided to keep the bands name and create a simplistic band logo to include in the magazine advert, digipak and music video. High Tyde are an Indie/Alternative band who already have a simplistic yet effective logo, we took this in consideration as we wanted the same look.

After Amy had created the band logos, Lorna and Amy created a focus group to find out which of the 3 logos they felt fitted our genre best, using the following questions:
- Which logo do you like the best and why?
- Do you think they are conventional for the indie genre?
- Would you buy merchandise with this logo on?
- After listening to the song, which logo do you think fits best?
- How could we improve them?
We found that they liked this logo the most, as they felt that the simplicity of it was conventional for the indie genre. The second duo mentioned that the other two logos had too much of a 'Surfer Dude' vibe to them and felt it wouldn't fit the genre of indie/alternative. After receiving feedback, we improved one of the logos based on the feedback we received but found that the group did not like the outcome. Now we have a chosen logo, we can add it in to the music video during production or editing but we can also use it throughout our digipaks and magazine advert to create continuity and brand recognition throughout.

As a group we decided to create some logos each, so that each group member had put in some input in creating the record label logo. We wanted to keep the logo fairly simple to keep continuity between the band and the record label.
After having a discussion with my two group members we decided to choose the 'Blindspark Prodcutions' logo (which i created) for our record label, we chose this as it was simple yet recognizable like the High Tyde logo.
