OUR DIGIPAK

For the digipak, Amy and I created the front cover, disk and back cover (which I later edited to our target audiences feedback), while Lorna edited the 2 inside panels with hand written song lyrics on. I created the panel with the text on stating where it was produced and which band members play which instrument. Overall we are very happy with our final digipak as we feel it relates well to the music video but also used continuity throughout the digipak, with the use of colours and logos.

For our digipak we wanted to use images from our music video to create continuity throughout our 3 products. We felt that we wanted to keep the digipak to show the musicianship of the band rather than the narrative and personality. We found multiple images from the video that we felt could potentially work for our digipak.

After selecting screencaps from our video to use for our digipak, as a group we spoke about what we would like to include in the digipak. Because our chosen genre was indie/alternative we felt that including the images of the instruments was necessary as we didn't plan on putting an image of the band on the front. So we felt that instead of highlighting the band, we want to bring the audience's focus to the musicianship of the band.
