ROUGH CUT & FOCUS GROUP
This is our final rough cut of our music video. As a group we are really happy with the rough cut, but wanted to ensure we had created something that our target audience would want to watch of the indie genre, therefore we created a focus group to gather some feedback on the video. We had a lot of positives from the group and also had some suggestions of what we could amend for our final music video. The main criticism that we had was that some of the narrative shots were a bit dark where we had edited them into black and white, however this is a minor element which can easily be fixed.

Amy and I, created the focus group which consisted of 8 people. I filmed the group while they watched our video to make sure we caught their reactions. Amy and I devised a set of questions which Amy asked these were:
- Do you think the video successfully fits the lyrics and the indie/alternative genre?
- Is there any suggestions you have for improvement?
- Do you think that having the performance in colour and narrative in black and white fits?
-Does the narrative fit with the conventions of the genre?
